 The Skiantos were born in the mid-1970s in Bologna. The first line-up already included Roberto ‘Freak’ Antoni and Dandy Bestia, who were active until their break-up. Together with producer Oderso Rubini, in 1977 they recorded their first audiocassette, INASCOLTABLE, for Harpo’s Bazaar, which already contained the essential elements of that ‘demential rock’ of which they were considered the first and greatest exponents: nonsense lyrics, punk, 60s-70s rock, Italian songs and blues.

 Gli Skiantos nascono a metà degli anni Settanta a Bologna. Già nella prima formazione sono presenti Roberto “Freak” Antoni e Dandy Bestia, attivi fino allo scioglimento. Affiancati dal produttore Oderso Rubini incidono nel 1977, per la Harpo’s Bazaar, la loro prima audiocassetta, INASCOLTABLE, che già contiene gli elementi essenziali di quel “rock demenziale” del quale sono considerati i primi e massimi esponenti: testi nonsense, punk, rock anni ’60-’70, canzone italiana e blues.
